Our in-house instructors and certified firearms coordinators equip agents with the proper credentials and hands-on experience needed to operate effectively in the field. Training includes:

The Basic Requirements :

All Applicants Are Accepted , But You Must Include Your Registration

Independent Contractor Position (1099) :

 

Please be advised that this opportunity is for an Independent Contractor (1099) position. This is not a W-2 employment role.

As a 1099 contractor:

  • You will be responsible for managing your own taxes and expenses.
  • You are not considered an employee and will not receive employee benefits.
  • You will have flexibility in your schedule and methods, within the scope of assigned tasks and company expectations.
  • You must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws governing independent contractors.

Minimum Age Requirement :

 

All applicants must be at least 21 years of age to be eligible for operational roles with East Coast Bail Enforcement Agency Inc.

This age requirement is in place to:

  • Comply with licensing regulations and insurance standards
  • Ensure legal eligibility to carry certain equipment and perform enforcement duties
  • Maintain a professional and mature working environment for high-risk assignments

📌 Proof of age (valid government-issued ID) will be required during the onboarding process.

Applicants under the age of 21 will not be considered for field or enforcement positions at this time.

 

U.S. Citizenship Requirement :

 

All applicants must be U.S. citizens or legal permanent residents to qualify for roles within East Coast Bail Enforcement Agency Inc.

✅ Proof of citizenship or lawful permanent residency (green card) is required during the onboarding process.

❌ Individuals on temporary visas or without verified legal status are not eligible for employment or contract opportunities.

This requirement ensures:

  • Compliance with federal and state regulations
  • Eligibility for background checks and licensing (including DCJS and other regulatory bodies)
  • Legal authority to participate in enforcement-related operations

Failure to provide valid documentation will result in immediate disqualification from the application process.

Criminal History Policy

 

Please be advised that applicants with a history of violent criminal offenses will not be considered for any position within our agency.

At East Coast Bail Enforcement Agency Inc., we are committed to upholding the highest standards of integrity, professionalism, and public safety.

  • Violent criminal offenses include but are not limited to assault, robbery, domestic violence, aggravated battery, homicide, or any offense involving the use of a weapon or threat of physical harm.
  • A full background check will be conducted as part of our screening process.

We reserve the right to deny any application based on findings that conflict with our agency’s mission and safety protocols.

Experience :

 

Applicants should be aware that prior experience in law enforcement, private security, military, or bail enforcement is highly preferred for operational roles within East Coast Bail Enforcement Agency Inc.

While we welcome motivated individuals from all backgrounds, priority will be given to those with:

  • Field experience in high-risk operations or fugitive recovery
  • Tactical or surveillance training
  • A history of responsible decision-making under pressure
  • Familiarity with legal procedures and arrest protocols

Entry-level training opportunities may be available, but all applicants must demonstrate professionalism, discipline, and a willingness to meet agency standards.

Experience will be verified as part of the application and onboarding process.

 

School Qualifications :

 

All applicants must meet the minimum educational requirement to be considered for roles within East Coast Bail Enforcement Agency Inc.

✅ High school diploma or GED is required for all operational and administrative positions.

🎓 Higher education in criminal justice, law enforcement, or a related field is preferred and may be considered during the selection process.

Applicants must be prepared to:

  • Provide official proof of educational completion
  • Undergo verification during the onboarding phase
  • Demonstrate reading, writing, and communication skills necessary for legal documentation and professional field conduct

Failure to meet the minimum education standard will result in disqualification from the application process.

Drug-Free Agency Policy :

 

East Coast Bail Enforcement Agency Inc. operates under a strict Drug-Free Policy. All agents, contractors, and personnel are expected to maintain a clean and sober presence while representing the agency in any capacity.

🚫 The use, possession, or influence of illegal drugs, controlled substances without prescription, or any intoxicating agents is strictly prohibited:

  • On duty
  • During operations or training
  • While in uniform or representing the agency

Mandatory drug screenings may be conducted at random or upon suspicion. Any violation of this policy will result in immediate removal from duty and possible termination.

We are committed to safety, professionalism, and compliance with state and federal regulations.

Licensing Requirement :

 

All applicants seeking operational roles with East Coast Bail Enforcement Agency Inc. must either possess a valid Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS) license or be actively working toward certification.

The following applies:

  • DCJS registration is mandatory for all agents operating in Virginia under bail enforcement, private security, or related fields.
  • Applicants without current DCJS credentials will be required to enroll in an approved DCJS training program before field deployment.
  • Proof of compliance, training status, or current licensure must be submitted during the onboarding process.

Failure to meet these standards will result in disqualification from operational assignments until resolved.

We take compliance seriously and will not permit any unauthorized or unlicensed activity under our agency.

 

No Competing Affiliations

 

East Coast Bail Enforcement Agency Inc. maintains a strict no competitor policy for all active agents and contractors.

Applicants and current agents are prohibited from working with or representing any competing fugitive recovery, private security, or bail enforcement agency during their time with us.

This policy is in place to:

  • Protect confidential operations and agency intelligence
  • Prevent conflicts of interest or divided loyalties
  • Ensure exclusive commitment to our cases and team safety

All applicants must disclose any current or past affiliations with similar agencies prior to onboarding. Violations of this policy may result in immediate termination or legal action as outlined in our contractor agreement.

By applying or continuing service with East Coast BEA Inc., you acknowledge and accept this policy in full.

Interview & Processing Requirements :

 

All applicants to East Coast Bail Enforcement Agency Inc. must complete a structured screening and training process before officially joining the agency in any operational capacity.

The onboarding phases are as follows:

  1. Interview Phase
    • ✅ Two phone interviews are required
    • Used to assess qualifications, professionalism, and background suitability
    • Conducted by agency supervisors or designated personnel

  1. Orientation Phase
    • ✅ One mandatory orientation session (virtual or in-person)
    • Covers agency policies, expectations, operational protocols, and team structure

  1. Live Training Phase
    • ✅ One mandatory live field training session
    • Focused on tactical readiness, communication procedures, and team conduct
    • Agents must arrive in proper gear and be prepared for hands-on instruction

✅ Once all phases are completed and verified, the applicant will be marked complete and active, and eligible for operational assignments.

Failure to complete any phase may result in delayed processing or removal from consideration.

90-Day Probationary Period :

 

All newly accepted agents and contractors with East Coast Bail Enforcement Agency Inc. will be placed on a 90-day probationary period upon onboarding.

During this period:

  • Performance, communication, and professionalism will be closely evaluated
  • All agents must remain consistently active and responsive via their assigned radio (Zello)
  • Reliable radio activity for a minimum of 60 days is required before clearance for advanced assignments, solo field operations, or promotional consideration

Agents who fail to maintain consistent radio check-ins, mission availability, or overall reliability may be:

  • Removed from active rosters
  • Denied further case assignments
  • Released from the agency without continued invitation

This probationary phase is designed to protect team cohesion, mission readiness, and operational safety standards .

  The $225-3000 onboarding fee for new agents joining East Coast Bail Enforcement Agency Inc. now includes access to the East Coast BEA Academy. This comprehensive training academy is designed to prepare agents for the unique challenges of the bail enforcement industry, offering critical skills and certifications that enhance professional performance and career development. Here’s everything covered: 

Professional Network and Community

 The fee includes membership in a professional network of experienced bail enforcement agents. This community offers opportunities for mentorship, collaboration, and sharing of best practices, which can be invaluable for new agents looking to establish themselves in the industry. 

Comprehensive Training Programs

 The fee covers access to rigorous and comprehensive training programs tailored to the specific needs and challenges faced by bail enforcement agents. This includes legal procedures, apprehension techniques, and safety protocols, ensuring that agents are well-prepared and confident in the field. 

Certification and Licensing Support

 By paying the fee, agents receive assistance with the certification and licensing processes, ensuring they meet all state and federal requirements. This support helps streamline the often complex and time-consuming administrative tasks associated with becoming a licensed agent. 


 The academy provides necessary certifications, including tasers and other certifications mandated by the agency and state laws, ensuring agents meet all compliance requirements. 

Access to Resources and Tools

 Membership with ECBEA provides agents with access to valuable resources, such as legal databases, field equipment, and up-to-date information on bail enforcement practices. These tools are essential for performing duties effectively and staying informed about industry standards and changes. 


    As a new agent, you will gain access to legal documents, databases, and up-to-date operational information crucial for effective and safe bail enforcement work. 

Apparel (Clothing) :

   The agency supplies Company Apparel setup, and official agency apparel as part of the onboarding process. 

Liability Insurance

 

Part of the registration fee covers liability insurance, protecting agents from potential legal claims and financial liabilities that may arise during the course of their duties. This coverage provides peace of mind and financial security.


 Your onboarding fee includes liability insurance, offering medical coverage up to $25,000 and protection against damages exceeding $1,000,000. 

Career & SKILL ADVANCEMENT OPPoRTUNITIES

 ECBEA offers ongoing professional development and advanced training opportunities. These programs are designed to help agents expand their skills, pursue specialized areas within bail enforcement, and advance their careers. 


 The academy includes advanced training and career-building opportunities to help agents refine their skills, expand their expertise, and pursue specialized roles in the industry. 

East Coast BEA Academy Training : (Coming 2026 )

    Gain access to extensive training programs, including Close Quarters Battle (CQB), room clearing, tactical entry, effective public communication, and advanced use of technology within the agency. The academy ensures agents are thoroughly prepared for real-world situations. 

Background Checks and Administrative Processing:

     This covers the administrative aspects of joining the agency, including background checks, filing, and compliance documentation to streamline your onboarding process.
